It's FREE for only $49.95!

I actually purchased one of the "FREE ENERGY" books that was touted in one of those emails.  The claim was that anyone could build it without any technical know-how.  Not quite true.  I do have some technical know-how and could not begin to attempt constructing the device.   It was the "magni-works" thingamajig - producing free energy with a perpetual motion generator.  It also was tied to Tesla's free energy.  Tesla was a genius and to say that anyone can duplicate his work is well, not genius - really?  If he had lived today, he would still be a genius.

If anyone can come up with a genuine way that truly is free and I mean free for the plans as well, that might cure my cynicism that all of this free stuff is nothing but hype and just another way for someone to make a buck off the "little" people.  They are no better than the so-called "big" corporations.  If anyone was truly wanting to put the "big" corporations out of business, these free electricity machines would be set up all over the country by these so-called geniuses that are so interested in the "little" people.  This could catch on like wildfire if anyone went to every state, set one up to work, and showed them exactly how to construct it.  They could then pass on that information to the rest of their town, then their county, then the state. But they are not going to do that - are they?

If there are conditions, is it really free?  Purchase one and get another free.  To me if you have to purchase to get something free, it is not free.  You are simply getting more of the same at a reduced cost.

There is only one thing out there that is truly free and that is Salvation.  We pay nothing for it.  We do nothing for it.  Nothing is required for us to do for it except to accept the Gift of Salvation.  It was paid for by the sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary by the only sinless Man that ever walked the earth and died sinless.  I make the distinction that HE died sinless as Adam had no sin when he was created, but he died in sin.

So when someone offers something for FREE and puts strings or conditions on it, then it is not free.  Stores offer free gifts all the time, but are they really free?  If it was free, why did they not just send it to you?  I have gotten free samples in the mail before.  It was nice.  I know it was a promotion of a new product, but still I went nowhere to get it and bought nothing to get it.  It was sent to me truly free.  I do not see much of that anymore.

The so-called free love of the 1960's was paid for dearly by not only that generation but those that came later (if they lived through it).  STD's or what was then called venereal disease (which sounded much more ominous) as well as broken marriages, broken lives and thoroughly messed up morals were just a little of how we have paid for that supposed freedom.

Our Freedom in the United States was paid for by the blood, sweat and tears of our founding fathers.  They gave everything including their lives and their fortunes to build a nation and what have we done to maintain that freedom?  Well, it looks pretty much like we have sold it down the river for convenience, for a slim feeling of security, for apathy and for wanting to be like all the rest of the world.  We also seem to want everyone to like us.  How did we get so insecure?  What a shame.

I am thankful that HE does not have to continually die for my sins, that I do not have to maintain that free gift in any way because I am afraid that it might just be sold out for the same reasons but mainly due to apathy.

Shalom.  Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
