Four Muslims Behead Cat in Sweden

Where is the outrage from PETA, from the ASPCA?  Never hear anything in their cries for more money about the senseless slaughter of animals by muslims for sheer sport and training for the really big atrocities.

I'm posting this for 2 reasons.

1. It is something that happened in 2013.  This crap, this supposed holy war has been going on for nearly 1,400 years.  This is ongoing and as long as they believe their ultimate goal is to convert the entire world by whatever means at their disposal, it will continue.

2. It is animal abuse.  This post is extremely graphic.  It is not a video.  It is a collection of still shots that these evil, Satan-filled devils posted.

You may think that it isn't a human being, so what.  This is how they are trained to react to death and dismemberment.  The lack of any emotion except joy in the murder of innocents is typical and continues with the murder, the slaughter, of children and whoever does not believe in their vile, satanic and twisted idea of a god who exacts revenge upon his followers; followers who bow down 5 times a day to swear allegiance and revenge upon the infidels.

The Wheaton Controversy

On December 15, 2015, Wheaton College, a flagship of evangelical educational institutions, placed one of its professors on administrative leave for “theological statements that seemed inconsistent with [their] doctrinal convictions.” Five days prior, donning a hijab and staking her position on a variety of controversial matters, Larycia Hawkins had stated on Facebook, “I stand in religious solidarity with Muslims because they, like me, a Christian, are people of the book. And as Pope Francis stated last week, we worship the same God.”

Wheaton’s decision to give Dr. Hawkins “more time to explore theological implications of her recent public statements” ignited a firestorm of controversy. One strong voice in the fray was that of the Chicago Tribune, which described Wheaton’s actions as “bigotry… disguised as theology.” This assessment was partially based on the input of Yale Professor Miroslav Volf, a theologian greatly respected for his contributions to Christian-Muslim dialogue, who said, “There isn’t any theological justification for Hawkins’s forced administrative leave. Her suspension is not about theology and orthodoxy. It is about enmity toward Muslims.” Such dialogue-stifling judgmentalism is shocking from a highly acclaimed Ivy League scholar, but it serves to illustrate the enormous tensions in Christian-Muslim relations during this time when the nation is pulled between the poles of Muslim refugees pouring into Staten Island and Muslim terrorists massacring innocents in San Bernadino.

Join us January 15-16, 2016 for an important conference on Islam

In the past week, I have received dozens of requests to provide my input on the matter, especially from those who are aware that I do not have “enmity toward Muslims.” As a former Muslim, I have many Muslim family members and friends that I spend time with regularly, and I often adjure Christians to consider gestures of solidarity with the hope that, somehow, this affection will trickle down to the Muslims I know and love. I have even recommended that Christian women consider wearing the hijab in certain circumstances, as well as counseled Christian men to consider fasting with their Muslim neighbors during the month of Ramadan, as long as it is clear these gestures are out of Christian love and not submission to Islam.

Do Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?
With this desire for love in mind, I turn now to the question: Do Muslims and Christians worship the same God? Like all good questions, the answer is more complex than most want, but I am confident of my position: Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God, but given the complexity of the matter we all ought to stop demonizing those who disagree with us.

I should start by saying this: for years after leaving Islam and accepting Jesus as Lord, I believed that Muslims worshiped the same God as Christians but that they were simply wrong about what He is like and what He has done. After all, I had been taught as a young Muslim to worship the God who created Adam and Eve, who rescued Noah from the flood, who promised Abraham a vast progeny, who helped Moses escape Egypt, who made the Virgin Mary great with child, who sent Jesus into the world, who helped the disciples overcome, and who is still sovereign today. Is that not the God of the Bible?

For that matter, the Quran asserts that the Torah and the Gospel are inspired scripture and that Jews and Christians are people of the Book. The Quran tells Muslims to say to them, “our God and your God is One, and unto Him we surrender” (29.46). If the Quran asserts that Muslims worship the same God as Jews and Christians, does that not settle the matter?

For years I thought it did, but I no longer do. Now I believe that the phrase “Muslims and Christians worship the same God” is only true in a fairly uncontroversial sense: There is one Creator whom Muslims and Christians both attempt to worship. Apart from this banal observation, Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God. I do not condemn those that think they do, but the deeper I delve into the Christian faith, the more I realize that this assertion is not only untrue but also subverts Christian orthodoxy in favor of Islamic assertions.

Let’s start with the obvious: Christians believe Jesus is God, but the Quran is so opposed to this belief that it condemns Jesus worshipers to Hell (5.72). For Christians, Jesus is certainly God, and for Muslims Jesus is certainly not God. How can it be said that Christians and Muslims worship the same God? This fact alone is enough to settle the matter, but at the very least, no one should argue as Volf has that “there isn’t any theological justification” for believing Christians and Muslims worship different Gods. There certainly is, and it is the obvious position when we consider the person of Jesus.

Another difference between the Islamic God and the Christian God that is quite personal to me is his Fatherhood. According to Jesus, God is our Father, yet the Quran very specifically denies that Allah is a father (112.1-4). In fact, in 5.18, the Quran tells Muslims to rebuke Jews and Christians for calling God their loving Father because humans are just things that God has created.

The same is the case when we consider the doctrine of the Trinity. Islam roundly condemns worship of the Trinity (5.73), establishing in contrast its own core principle: Tawhid, the absolute oneness of God. Tawhid specifically denies the Trinity, so much so that it is safe to say the doctrine of God in Christianity is antithetical to the doctrine of God in Islam. Not just different but completely opposed to one another.

There is much more to be said about the differences between the Christian God and the Muslim God, but this much can already be said with confidence: the Christian God, both in terms of what he is (Triune) and who he is (Father, Son, and Spirit) is not just different from the Muslim God; He is fundamentally incompatible. According to Islam, worshiping the Christian God is not just wrong; it sends you to Hell. They are not the same God.

Why Do People Say Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?

So how can people argue that Muslims and Christians worship the same God? By unduly giving priority to the Islamic assertion that this is the same God. The Quran says that Allah is the God of the Bible, so He must be. The Quran says that Allah is the God of the Biblical prophets, so He must be.
The Quran says that Muslims and Christians worship the same God, so it must be the same God. Ultimately, this is the reasoning of those who believe, as I once did, that Muslims and Christians worship the same God, and it is flawed.

The similarities between the God of Islam and the God of Christianity are fairly superficial, and at times simply semantic. Though Islam claims that the Muslim God has done some of the same things as the Christian God and sent some of the same people, that is not enough to say that Muslims worship the same God as Christians. These minor overlaps are far less essential to the reality of who God is than the fundamental differences of his nature and persons. What God has done or whom He has sent is far less of a defining characteristic than what He is and who He is; though Islam and Christianity overlap at points on the former, they differ fundamentally on the latter.

Volf’s challenge in response is that Christians believe they worship the same God as the Jews though the Jews do not worship the Trinity. How can Christians accuse Muslims of worshiping a different God without also indicting the Jews of doing the same? That would be inconsistent or hypocritical.
The response should be obvious to those who have studied the three Abrahamic faiths: the Trinity is an elaboration of Jewish theology, not a rejection. By contrast, Tawhid is a categorical rejection of the Trinity, Jesus’ deity, and the Fatherhood of God, doctrines that are grounded in the pages of the New Testament and firmly established centuries before the advent of Islam. Most of the earliest Christians were Jews, incorporating their encounter with Jesus into their Jewish theology. Nothing of the sort is true of Muhammad, who was neither a Jew nor a Christian. Islam did not elaborate on the Trinity but rejected and replaced it.

Additionally, Volf’s assumption that Jews did not worship something like the Trinity is unsubstantiated. Many Jews held their monotheism in tension with a belief in multiple divine persons. Though the term “Trinity” was coined in the second century, the underlying principles of this doctrine were hammered out on the anvil of pre-Christian Jewish belief. It was not until later, when Jews and Christians parted ways, that Jews insisted on a monadic God. The charge of Christian hypocrisy is anachronistic.

Conclusion

The question of whether Muslims and Christians worship the same God is complex. Wheaton made a respectable decision in giving Hawkins time off to consider the implications of her statement: she is allowing Islamic assertions to subvert the importance of essential doctrine. That said, one ought not fault her harshly for the mistake, as these issues are murky. What is dangerous is the path of Volf, accusing people of bigotry to shut down valid conversations. One can both love Muslims and insist that the God they worship is not the same as the Christian God.

Christians worship a Triune God: a Father who loves unconditionally, an incarnate Son who is willing to die for us so that we may be forgiven, and an immanent Holy Spirit who lives in us. This is not what the Muslim God is; it is not who the Muslim God is; and it is not what the Muslim God does. Truly, the Trinity is antithetical to Tawhid, fundamentally incompatible and only similar superficially and semantically. Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God.

Monday night is my time to watch Ravi Zacharias

Monday night is my time to watch Ravi Zacharias. Fantastic preacher!! As I sat here considering something he said, I found I could apply it to the current situation regarding the refugees.

How often have we prayed that Muslims could hear the Gospel and prayed for an opening? How do we turn away the very ones who need to hear the Gospel the most?

Will there be terrorists among them? Of course. Is there a reason, as Christians, to fear? That depends on what we fear. If we fear what man can do to us, we are in error. Scripture tells us not to fear man who can only kill the body but to fear the ONE who can take both body and soul. Many times throughout Scripture we are told, "Fear not." JESUS adds, "for I am with you."

I'm not totally over my first reaction to the influx of Muslim refugee/terrorist. I am, however, trying to listen more to GOD than to my gut. My gut reaction often passes rather quickly. It has lasted longer this time.

The President has stated we are no longer a Christian nation. I must say that he has struck a sour note with that one. The problem is that we, us Christians, have failed to act like the LORD JESUS CHRIST has taught us. We embrace sin. There is little to no repentance when we are caught in the very act of sin. We, to the contrary screech, "YOU CANNOT JUDGE ME!! YOU HYPOCRITE!!" We deny the very facts we claim to uphold. We Christians send mixed signals to a sin infested world and wonder why they don't want to listen to us when we tell them about our Savior and how they should turn from sin, repent, and follow JESUS. OUR OWN LIVES BARELY REFLECT THAT!

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!!
PRAISE HIM ALL CREATURES HERE BELOW!!
PRAISE HIM ALL YE HEAVENLY HOSTS!!
PRAISE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY GHOST!!

SHALOM!! Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem!!!

Those Pesky Refugees

We are at war, like it or not, we are at war. We did not declare the war. They, the Islamic State of Iran and Syria, declared war on the entire Western civilization way of life.

We, the United States of America, have been taking in refugees, immigrants, and visitors (tourists) since 1776.

Are we seeing a terrorist under every rock? Maybe. Maybe there are terrorists under every rock. We don't know. It is our fear of the unknown that has us jittery.

The notorious Hillary Clinton is right about one thing. Probably several but I will only give her one thing. What we are about is being a caring and compassionate country, as a whole. We are known for helping our enemies rebuild. To see that, you only have to look at World War 2. We helped our conquered enemies rebuild their structures and their countries. Most of them never repaid but a portion of what was “loaned' to them to assist in the reconstruction of their infrastructure.  Please note that they were first conquered.

All of that is just wonderful to know, but when we were that magnanimous nation, we had leadership. We had someone at the helm who told us we could do it. “We the People” were, for the most part, law-abiding, noble people, who wanted to do right; who wanted to take care of the less fortunate. The Ten Commandments were hanging in the schools. Schools began each day with prayer and with the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America. We were taught to behave both at home and at school. We were taught to respect authority. We were taught to think. We were taught to get married, then have sex and children would be the result. We were taught to read, to write, to think. Again, with the thinking. Maybe I have touched upon something.  You would normally find us at church on Sunday morning.

We the People” are no longer noble people, who want to do right; who want to take care of the less fortunate. We have the government programs to do that. We do not even have to think about being noble.

The Ten Commandments were removed from the schools for the following reason, “..If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments are to have any effect at all, it will be to induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey, the Commandments. However desirable this might be as a matter of private devotion, it is not a permissible state objective under the Establishment Clause. Obeying the Ten Commandments or just obeying one of them is not an objective of the government schools. The simple statement, “Do not murder.” was removed from the schools. The simple statement, “Honor your father and mother” was deemed inappropriate. That horrible commandment. “Do not lie” was offensive to someone. Our mirror for sin was shattered and the floodgates were opened.

Schools no longer begin each day with prayer and few even with the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America, lest we offend anyone. We no longer have to behave neither at home nor at school. We are no longer taught to respect authority. We are no longer taught to think. We are no longer taught to get married, then have sex and children would be the result. We are taught that sex, no matter how disturbed or perverted it may be is okay due to our right to be happy. We are taught that indiscriminate sex with anyone or anything is a right and any hindrance to that pursuit is met with shouting, vitriol and accusations of one sort of phobia or another. Any child that may be produced from any union of a man or woman or test tube is something disposable like toilet paper or commodity to be sold and experimented upon with impunity. We are no longer taught to read, to write, to think, but we are taught that political correctness rules over everything and it that doesn't cover it, then global warming will. The idiocy of the 1960's has permeated every aspect of our lives and our government. If it feels good, do it” is the mantra of the day. Coupled with “you can't judge me!” closes the door to every attempt to even open a conversation regarding the hot topics.

Even Scripture gives the government (the ruler) certain responsibilities for the protection of the people.
Romans 13:4 “For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” NKJV

Be a responsible citizen and you’ll get on just fine, the government working to your advantage. But if you’re breaking the rules right and left, watch out. The police aren’t there just to be admired in their uniforms. God also has an interest in keeping order, and he uses them to do it.” The Message Bible

For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you.” The New Living Translation

And the likes of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, President Barack Hussein Obama, and the rest of the liberal progressives are shocked and dismayed beyond belief that we have lost our compassion for refugees. Why are we suddenly supposed to be so compassionate for grown people, people outside of the womb when we are able to murder indiscriminately the most fragile of us, that tiny human being in the womb?

We are suddenly asked to awaken the great compassionate beast within our collective masses and allow people within our borders that even the government cannot say for certain that the vetting process actually works, but we should allow it anyway because we are so compassionate. We have such great wonderful hearts for the oppressed. Really? And how compassionate was Ferguson? How compassionate was Baltimore? How compassionate was Fort Hood?

We cannot even muster compassion for the ones who work to protect us. The love of many has grown cold. We have been convinced we are still the Crusaders. The Inquisitors, those fanatical Christians. Suddenly they want us to be wonderfully kind again and are shocked and dismayed when it appears that we are not.

It kind of looks like “We the People” are not what we used to be. Do tell. The government has banned GOD, Christianity, and all that comes with us from our public life. They got it. Now they do not like it.

Slow and Pause are NOT Synonyms for Stop

I said I wasn't going on Facebook again until Monday, but I saw this in The Washington Post and had to comment.

France says it will take 30,000 Syrian refugees, while U.S. Republicans would turn them away

1. The majority United States citizens, contrary to what President Obama says, are NOT saying reject them forever. They are saying that we should pause and take a look at the vetting process to make certain the citizens will be assured a measure of safety. With all the mixed messages that are coming from the President's own people, it is only reasonable for people to be concerned. To chastise us like we are ignorant children only escalates that feeling they do not know what they (the leaders) are doing.

2. President Obama has been leading us to this point. It is his public ridicule of his own citizens, his international and public show of disdain for the democratic processes, as well as his petulant handling of opposition to his policies that has brought the public to their current concerns regarding the refugees.

I applaud the leader of France for his decisive action in striking back. His leadership has been quite the example. And the people of France are showing a remarkable resilience. They have a strong national pride that we, in the United States, have been told for years is wrong.

To be a proud American has been ridiculed as an outdated belief. Our Constitution and all we hold dear has been trashed and leadership has promoted a hatred between law enforcement and citizens. And yet people seem surprised that the logical conclusion is a growing isolationist attitude.

And who has arisen as the world's leader?  Putin.  The French looked for leadership and has found it in Russia, not the United States.

We let terrorists go and repatriate them so they can attack again. France hunts them down and eliminates them. We cannot even use the word "kill."

Yes, we are concerned. We are scared. I say to President Obama, "What do you expect?"

We have people arrested in Texas, Syrians detained in Honduras happily making their way to the United States with phony Greek passports, airline flights disrupted, an unknown person trying to board a Jet Blue flight in Los Angeles bound for New York, and who only knows what else.  And leadership is vacuous in their answers, blaming the citizens for their lack of confidence in the feckless leadership that is intent upon leaving a legacy instead of protecting the people he supposedly wanted to govern.  The Tsarnov brothers were refugees.  The 9/11/2001 terrorists learned to fly at United States schools.  There are too many examples of how we have reached out, educated, fed, and clothed people who turned out to simply be using the system to find out how to best destroy us.

The author of the article is a prime example of those who come from outside of the United States and actually fail to understand that we are a democratic republic and not a pure democracy which in essence is simply, mob rule.

The following was a quote from time.com/author/ishaan-tharoor/
Ishaan Tharoor. Ishaan is a Senior Editor at TIME magazine and Editor of TIME World, based in New York City. A New Yorker (by upbringing) and an Indian (by passport), he joined TIME's Asia headquarters in Hong Kong after graduating from Yale in 2006.
The following is a quote from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shashi_Tharoor
Tharoor's father, Sashi Tharoor, was an important man in India. In April 2010, he resigned from the position, following allegations that he had misused his office to get shares in the IPL cricket franchise. Tharoor denied the charges and, during his resignation speech in Parliament, called for a full inquiry. In a 2014 rejoinder he defended his position: "I was never involved in a scam of any sort in the IPL- I was brought down because...[I had] antagonised some powerful political cricketing interests" and added that he had "cooperated extensively with the detailed investigation conducted by the Enforcement Directorate into the entire issue", and no wrongdoing had been found.[citation needed]

I, for one, wish the President had gone golfing instead of attending the G20 conference, or maybe just taken a nap instead of vilifying his own people.

One more thing.  French President Hollande, if you have a better way to vet these refugees, please share that with us.

9/11

What if the date, September 11 has nothing to do with the United States of America?

Some of the most stunning defeats of the Muslim armies which slaughter wherever they go have been at the hands of Christian armies defending themselves against the jihadist invaders. The other astounding fact is that they happened on September 11.

Jean Parisot de Vallette, the seventy-year-old leader of the Knights of Malta, defeated the Islamic invaders on the Isle of Malta on September 11, 1565 after a siege that had gone on since May 18, 1565. The terrorists fell all over themselves in humiliating defeat by a handful of weary soldiers that failed to understand the idea of defeat. The fought and tired and fought some more, with the knowledge they would probably be killed. They persevered and won!

During the battle for Vienna, the Ottoman Empire, lead by Sultan Memed IV, the Polish Hussar Winged Riders perched upon their dragoons, caused the Muslim terrorists to drop their weapons and run in another humiliating defeat. They left behind their kafir beans from Ethiopia, Pope Clement upon tasting the Devil's brew, said that the brew should be baptized and thereby humiliate the Devil. The date of the humiliating defeat of the terrorists at the Battle of Vienna is September 11, 1683.

There are many, many other examples of Muslim terrorists being defeated on September 11.

I may not have spelled all the names correctly and, in my enthusiasm to write this left out other pertinent facts, but the gist of this is: regardless of the numbers, they can be and will be defeated. All of these battles were with Christians and/or Christian countries.

They don't care if they murder 150 or 15,000. Their intent is to cause as much confusion and terror as possible. Their god is the god of confusion and terror and the father of lies. The Christian's GOD is the GOD of order, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE and THE ONE to WHOM every knee, every knee will bow, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST !!

SHALOM! Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem!

What do we do now?

I am not a preacher. I do not profess to know all about Scripture. This is purely a commentary about what is happening and how I view it. I could always be wrong. I often am. Feel free to post your opinion as well.

As in the days of Noah, so will it be in the last days. All that means is, in the eyes if the general population. things will be continuing as usual and only those who are Christian and are paying attention to the signs of the times (just as Noah did) will be aware of the fact that it really is the last days.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 (KJV)

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

To hear preachers these days, you wonder if they have even heard of “the last days'” prophecy, and the books of Daniel, Ezekiel or Revelation. Preaching “the love of GOD” without acknowledging there is a side of GOD that demands justice is to give only a very skewed view of WHO GOD truly is. Yes HE is love, but the extent of HIS love is unimaginable. HE is also a just GOD. HE cannot look upon sin of any sort which is why JESUS cried out from the cross, “My GOD, my GOD! Why have you forsaken me?” HE was covered, immersed with our sin and GOD the FATHER could not look upon HIM, HIS only begotten SON.

We know GOD created everything. We know about how sin entered and GOD'S promise of Salvation. We know JESUS died to save us from our sins. We know HE rose again and conquered death, Hell and the grave. We know we are to live as JESUS would. We know we are to spread the Gospel. We know, despite the prosperity teachers, that we will suffer for our faith; that we may even be called upon to become martyrs for HIM.

But. And this is a big one. But what do we do when Satan comes knocking at our door with a Kalashnikov in one hand and a Qua-ran in the other? That decision may be taken out of our hands and we meet GOD immediately. If that decision is not made immediately, what are we supposed to do?

Government was given the task of protecting the people and enforcing the law; primarily the laws of nature and of nature's GOD. The problem with our current administration is they have dropped GOD out of the equation and upheld nature at the cost of humanity. What do you do, Biblically speaking, when government has abandoned GOD and it appears that everyone is doing what is right in his own eyes?

The quick answer is obey GOD. But that still begs the question, “HOW? What are we supposed to do?”

Since there are no quick, easy answers, even from Scripture, I can only relate what I would do.

In the meantime, pray and study. In order to know what GOD would have me do, I must first and foremost keep listening to HIM and study to really know HIM.

At that moment of confrontation, it will depend. If I am killed immediately, the matter is removed from me completely. But what if I survive?
  1. My instinct will be to eliminate the enemy. But maybe my calling in that moment is to disable and tell him that he is going into eternity and has 3 seconds to make his peace with the ONE TRUE GOD and then kill him.
  2. If he is in the process of killing others and I can stop him, I will do whatever I can to eliminate his sorry behind and send him straight to Hell with the rest of them.
  3. What if they move in next door? I'm going to use that dreaded answer, “It depends.” Do they pose an immediate threat? Call the law and eliminate them if necessary. And what if they do not pose an immediate threat? It again depends. Are they open to the Gospel? Has GOD lead them there because HE is drawing them to HIM? Only the HOLY SPIRIT can tell you that.
  4. If it is 2 or more single men between the ages of 10 and 35, they bear watching, closely, with closed circuit cameras. If it is a family, they still bear close surveillance as it can be just a ploy to gain your compassion and confidence. Regardless. You must remain vigilant.
  5. Do you shoot to kill the unsaved without giving them the Gospel? Yes. If they have put themselves in a position to get shot at, yes, you shoot to kill.

But before all of this happens, pray. Pray for everyone. Pray for the Salvation of the lost. Prat for the refugees and their Salvation. Pray for safety for yourself, for law enforcement, for your county, for your city, for your state, and for the Federal government that they would allow GOD to guide them and do what is right in HIS eyes, not their own. Pray that the LORD would give you the strength to do what HE wills. Pray that if called upon to give the ultimate sacrifice, you do so for HIS Glory alone. Pray that the last words from your lips could be those of Stephen and JESUS, “Forgive them, Father. They don't know what they are doing.”

If I am caught without a weapon in a store that has canned goods, there are a bunch of canned goods that are going to get thrown at someone if only to distract them. And I will be praying that my aim is good and that can of corn hits him between the eyes.

What we do will depend upon the circumstance and what GOD has planned for us. Most of all, daily we should put on the full armor of GOD, even in times of peace, in order to be prepared for that time we are called upon by GOD to do HIS will whatever it may be.

Ephesians 6: KJV

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

The Message Bible says it this way:

13-18 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

The Amplified Bible says it this way:

13 Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.]16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

Understand that GOD will not always remove us from the fire, but will be there with us in the fire.

Daniel 3:16-26 KJV

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego.

23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Daniel 3:16-26 The message Bible

16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”

19-23 Nebuchadnezzar, his face purple with anger, cut off Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace fired up seven times hotter than usual. He ordered some strong men from the army to tie them up, hands and feet, and throw them into the roaring furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, bound hand and foot, fully dressed from head to toe, were pitched into the roaring fire. Because the king was in such a hurry and the furnace was so hot, flames from the furnace killed the men who carried Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to it, while the fire raged around Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

24 Suddenly King Nebuchadnezzar jumped up in alarm and said, “Didn’t we throw three men, bound hand and foot, into the fire?”

That’s right, O king,” they said.

25 “But look!” he said. “I see four men, walking around freely in the fire, completely unharmed! And the fourth man looks like a son of the gods!”

26 Nebuchadnezzar went to the door of the roaring furnace and called in, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the High God, come out here!”

Regarding Stephen, the first martyr:

Acts 7:54-60

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

The Message Bible

54-56 At that point they went wild, a rioting mob of catcalls and whistles and invective. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, hardly noticed—he only had eyes for God, whom he saw in all his glory with Jesus standing at his side. He said, “Oh! I see heaven wide open and the Son of Man standing at God’s side!”

57-58 Yelling and hissing, the mob drowned him out. Now in full stampede, they dragged him out of town and pelted him with rocks. The ringleaders took off their coats and asked a young man named Saul to watch them.

59-60 As the rocks rained down, Stephen prayed, “Master Jesus, take my life.” Then he knelt down, praying loud enough for everyone to hear, “Master, don’t blame them for this sin”—his last words. Then he died.

What effect could the death of a Christian have upon the unsaved? The young man holding the coats or cloaks of those committing the murder of Stephen, was Saul of Tarsus who later became the Apostle Paul, the chief of sinners.

HE showed us in 2 Timothy 3 what we are to expect

GOD puts leaders in office and he takes them out. Knowing this, it is difficult for me to show much more than a passing disrespect for the man who occupies the Oval Office. I vehemently disagree with all his policies. I will NOT stand with him on one single issue, unless he chooses to defund PP, reverses all his executive orders, or decides to resign. I feel I could agree on those issues.

I remember when George W was elected and Republicans fell all over themselves with praise, but I warned them that he was just another man. When he got all tied up with trying to 'get along' and put up the 'big tent,' they were falling all over themselves for the opposite reason.

This country is being 'judged' and it is because we, as a country, turned our back on GOD. We kill our children in the womb (54+ million), sanctioned by the government. We condone pornography as free speech and condoned by the government by lax prosecution. We legalized prostitution (only in 1 state). We legalized drugs (only 1 in a couple states). He said we are no longer a Christian country (we certainly don't behave like one), but what we have is a remnant of GOD'S people who are standing firm; without the promise of earthly wealth; without the promise of being wealthy like Abraham or Solomon; without the prosperity doctrines of today; without the 'name it and claim it' attitudes abounding in our pulpits.

HE, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, promised us division in our families; hardship in general and we will see more. HE showed us in 2 Timothy 3 what we are to expect in the last days. It is not prosperity. It is wars and rumors of wars. It is good being called evil and evil being called good. It is lawlessness. It is truce breakers. It is everyone doing what is right in their own eyes.

I doubt most people will read this far. But this is where the reality is. When HE says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." You must be HIS first.

What we have here is a failure to communicate.  The church, the Bride of Christ, has defiled herself.  It is past time to clean up, stand up, and hold up the Word of GOD as the HOLY BOOK that it is and quit trying to find justification to continue in sin that is clearly defined as such in Scripture.  The church has failed miserably to communicate that to the congregations!

Pray for the People of France

Terror attacks rip through Paris.  Almost 200 died,  Many injured.

The spirit of the French people will not be extinguished.  The French will hunt the terrorists down and mercilessly extinguish them.

You terrorists have not been exposed to much history that shows what other countries are capable of when faced with a Fascist.  You are about to find out.

It is by no means over.  We know they are here, maybe down the street, and more are coming.  They want a fight, we will fight.  Do not confuse compassion with weakness.  We are not ruthless but we are cunning.  We are not vile but we are resolute.  We understand what you filthy dog terrorists are all about.  You want a holy war to end all holy wars with Islam as the world religion.  It ain't gonna happen.  YHWH is GOD, the ONLY GODHE will reign supreme!  HE will overthrow the evil that is you and your kind.

My prayer is that you know the TRUTH and the TRUTH will set you free, otherwise you terrorists have nothing more to look forward to than eternity in Hell with you father, Satan.

In the Last Days

2 Timothy 3 (The Message)

1-5Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.
6-9These are the kind of people who smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself “truth.” They get exploited every time and never really learn. These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and Jambres, who challenged Moses. They were rejects from the faith, twisted in their thinking, defying truth itself. But nothing will come of these latest impostors. Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that Egyptian hoax.

Keep the Message Alive
10-13You’ve been a good apprentice to me, a part of my teaching, my manner of life, direction, faith, steadiness, love, patience, troubles, sufferings—suffering along with me in all the grief I had to put up with in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. And you also well know that God rescued me! Anyone who wants to live all out for Christ is in for a lot of trouble; there’s no getting around it. Unscrupulous con men will continue to exploit the faith. They’re as deceived as the people they lead astray. As long as they are out there, things can only get worse.

14-17But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

King James Version
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Can You Really Walk too Close to the Edge?

As children we liked to get as close to the edge of pretty much everything.  Some of us, like me, were just plan hard-headed.  Really.  How long could it hurt?  How far will I fall?  Just how bad could the consequences be, anyway?  As far as getting a spanking was concerned, it always ended and was never as bad as expected.  It was soon a distant memory.

Had my first plane trip when I was 6.  I jumped off ledges.  At 9 I walked a ledge around the second story of our apartment building.  Ran away from home at 12 on a passenger train.  That was not as adventurous as it sounds.  My aunt bought the ticket for me and my father was waiting for me at the destination.  I would rather have a beating than get a lecture.  A spanking was over when they tired, but that voice seemed to go on and on and on.

But that was then; 50 years and a lifetime ago.

Today is different.  Today, I watch as Christians, those who have become reborn, a child of GOD, try to walk as far from GOD as possible.  Of one thing I am certain, my Salvation was a totally free gift from GOD; I did nothing to gain Salvation and therefore can do nothing to lose Salvation.  I can, however, grieve the HOLY SPIRIT.

But knowing that GOD will never leave me nor abandon me, should I really want to see how far away from HIM I can stray without severing that sweet communion we have?   While liberty has been bestowed upon me by GOD'S Grace and I am free to choose holiness, the HOLY SPIRIT has also come to live within me, give me comfort, support the Will of GOD, and encourage me to do HIS Will and not my own.  Each time that I choose my own way, I grieve the HOLY SPIRIT and the HOLY SPIRIT'S voice of reason is heard less and less until it is ignored altogether.  If I truly am a child of GOD, it should grieve my own spirit and cause my heart to weep unconsolably to know that I, in my own stupidity and pridefulness, have quenched the ONE thing that wants above all else to Comfort me and bring me back into sweet communion.

And that brings me to celebrating pagan holidays disguised as having innocent fun or even worse yet, mocking evil.  Evil and sin (which to me are one in the same) are nothing more than disobedience to the WILL OF GOD.  Are we truly authorized to mock sin?  Or are we to spread the Gospel and lead lost souls to CHRIST?   The answer is clear.  Flaunting our Salvation and dressing up in innocent costumes to taunt the Devil and his emmisaries is found nowhere in Scripture.  The Old Testament shows the Prophet of GOD mocking the priests of Baal and asking them if their god was on the toilet and unable to respond to their requests, but he did not dress up in an angel costume when he did so.  At no time in the New Testament does it show anyone of GOD'S people dressing in costume, flaunting their Christianity, and/or tempting Satan.

In the New Testament, Gentiles who became Christians were not commanded to participate in Jewish rituals, such as circumcision.  Nor were Christian Jews told to cease celebrating their rituals, such as circumcision.   When Gentiles (which is anyone who is not Jewish) were saved, they repented of their sin, just as the Jews did and became a new creature in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Is our participation in questionable holy days (holidays) simply a form of walking to close to the edge of the precipice?   Are we taunting the dark side (evil), daring it to try to win?  Or are we, Christians, being just plain stiff-necked and pride-filled in trying to go our own way?

Paul said that he did not do the things he should do and did the things that he should not and did not want to do because of the battle that rages within.  We all suffer from that battle.  The HOLY SPIRIT is at war with the flesh that we reside in for the simple reason that our flesh has not been reborn, only our soul.

As you go through each day, ask yourself if what you are about to do is a matter of your own pride or is it what GOD has chosen for you to do?

Shalom!  Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem!
